How do you distinguish someone who got a high QM MMR by playing with a 5 stack versus someone who genuinely improved through solo queue QM?

Still, how am i supposed to get higher in rank if i'm 30 and i get matched with stupid 50 that do not even know when to stay in lane and get xp. This is a great change because this effectively ends what I consider to be "MMR Hell," as I described above, and should more accurately place players who truly aren't ranked at their skill level closer to their actual skill level whether this be ranking up OR ranking down.
The soft reset every season means that your MMR gets lower as each season passes.
Yah this is very true. It sucks when it happens to you and it still kind of sucks when you win because of it. I guess I don't know why this is surprising?

Yes, this is exactly what happens to me. It feels so bad to go on a game loss streak, and take to nothing from it except that your team was badly outmatched. When you first started the game you had an arbitrary MMR and an open confidence interval.
I mean, i started to play ranked not so long ago, like a week ago, but i think i'm not a bad player i've a lot of experience in others moba. This doesn't make sense. You do realize this is a team based game where Blizz intentionally balances away from solo carry right?
